Hole #9 has a sharp dogleg left. It is neat little hole that also has some risk/reward. A safe drive is out to the 100 to 120 yard mark straight down the fairway. The big hitters can try to cut across the dogleg and possibly reach the green on days with a strong southeast wind. However, if you don’t carry it far enough there are small evergreens and the grassy “turtle and snake” mounds that can get you in trouble. You will be hitting your approach into a narrow landing area on the green. If you go long over the mound on the back side of this green, it spells big trouble. Once on the green, you will find this hole is one of the toughest putting holes. The green slopes severely to the front left side. The blue pin positions are the hardest approach shots, while the red pin positions are the toughest putts.
